Social Media and What’s App Groups

We have a range of Facebook and What’s App groups to help you meet and stay connected to other LGBT+ parents. You can use these groups to chat and share information, recommendations, and advice - as well as arrange your own meet-ups outside of P2bP events!
You can join one or more of these groups. It will depend on which ones are relevant to you.

To join one or more of the What’s App groups, please message our Community Engagement Worker Lizzie (They/them) on 07871633853. They will reply to you and add you to the group or groups as soon as possible. This may take up to 1-2 days depending on when they are working. If you have not been to a Proud 2 b Parents event before, we may ask to have a short phone call with you to check you are an LGBT+ parent or carer, or parent or carer to be. All parents or carers must be registered with us in order to join any of the Facebook or What’s App groups.

  • Facebook: Proud 2 b Parents Social

Proud 2 b Parents Social is our closed Facebook group. It’s a space to continue building on the links and friendships made at our meet-ups or to join in for the first time, ask questions, seek guidance, and share experiences etc.

This group is also where our Parent Support Sessions take place.

To join simply follow the link to the group, then request to join as you would any Facebook group.

  • Facebook: Proud

Proud is our closed Facebook group for single LGBT+ parent/carers or co-parenting families.

Proud offers the chance to connect and share experiences with others, and members can also use the group to arrange their own meet ups outside of Proud 2 b Parents events.

To join simply follow the link to the group, then request to join as you would any Facebook group.
