Bolton Proud 2 b Parents service
Why are we in Bolton?
Bolton Together’s Family Hub Project aims to provide vital support to families through a variety of organisations, focusing on infant feeding, parent engagement, perinatal mental health support, and expanding stay and play provision for under-fives. This project was initiated to address the growing need for comprehensive family support within our community. It is driven by Bolton Together with support from the Bolton Council..
Bolton Together has taken a giant stride towards inclusivity and acceptance by commissioning Proud 2 b Parents to deliver essential services to the LGBT+ parents and their children in the region. This decision marks a significant step forward for marginalised communities, reaffirming their commitment to creating a nurturing environment for every family, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
Most of our events are held at Great Lever Children’s Centre, Leonard Street, Bolton, BL3 3AP.
Our sessions are delivered by Lizzie (They/them), our Community Engagement Worker who has been in the role since August 2022.
For more information or to attend our events please complete our short registration form, or get in touch via info@proud2bparents.co.uk. You can also call or text our Community Engagement Worker, Lizzie, on 07871633853.
